Information for Incoming Kindergarten Families

If you have already enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2015-16 school year, welcome to EDS!  Very shortly, you should be receiving a welcome letter with important information about our Kindergarten Round-Up on May 27th.  This afternoon session is an informal screening for incoming students, which for them looks like an hour of playing in the classroom with some of our teachers observing.  Parents will join the principal in the library for an information session about Kindergarten and EDS.

The session takes place at two different times in the afternoon, and your letter will specify the time you are scheduled.  We look forward to meeting our newest Huskies!

MEF Announces Summer Enrichment Program

Recycling-- News from Room 20

Hello EDS parents!  The Hansenites in Room 20 are doing a recycling project.  There is a problem in EDS...  we have a recycling problem.  Kids are throwing cans and bottles in the garbage.  There are some dangerous things that one bottle can do to the world.    When you have plastic bottles or aluminum cans look for a blue bin to put the bottle/cans in.  Once a month a couple of kids and parents from room 20 will take the bottles and cans to the recycling center. The money we raise will help EDS pay for new equipment.  So, if you go to EDS, please, if you have a bottle or a can, recycle it.  Thank you!
